Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

I live in Florida and a friend of mine asked me to pawn a guitar for him on Saturday. Well today he tells me it is stolen. I pawned it because he lost his licence about a week before this. I was wondering if I should go to the police and if I do can I be charged with a crime?

I suggest you go see an attorney. The attorney could inquire with law enforcement about a solution to your dilemma. There may be other solutions as well, but I suggest you see an attorney. If you are found out and arrested, you will be charged with a 2nd degree felony. It is doubtful your friend would help you out.
