Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

i live in a gateted community with a public golf course on premises me being a resident do i commit trespassing if i play walking 3 holes behind my back yard after 5pm when pro shop closes?

Technically its possible I suppose. Trespassing can be a tough call for cops when there is no sign around and there has not been a warning given verbally which was ignored. I do believe you are supposed to pay to use their course though. Again, not sure this would be considered a theft in the eyes of a cop either. Both are minor misdemeanors and if a cop was nice you would be given a notice to appear vs an arrest.

Your golf course is technically your neighbor. So, to ask it another way, would it be trespassing for some neighbor to come onto your yard and play golf? I suspect you would answer no, and I'm sure the golf course feels the same way.
