Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I have an open burglary from 2007.I was 16 at the time.I was released from JDC and told my case would be transferred to adult court(direct filed).since then i have not received a court date.My co defendants have done 3 years. Me on the other hand has had the status of capias for about 3 years now. I've been arrested one since then, and at a bond hearing my capias was brought up. I was still granted a bond and charges on that case were dropped a month later.I also get stopped sometimes and the police never mention it.Its now 2013 im almost 22 and my status still reads capias. What do i do?

You need to confirm the status of this. Either hire an attorney or go to the clerk's office and ask them the status of this. Since it is potentially still in juvenile court, you will not be able to get an answer over the phone or even online, and you need to go in person and show ID to find out the status.
