It's up to the Alabama authorities, so it's really a question for Alabama lawyers, not Florida lawyers. Try posting your question to the Alabama forum. (By the way, it is possible to extradite from Alabama to Florida for possession, but it's pretty rare, since Florida wouldn't usually put up the expense for a misdemeanor charge.)
