probation curfew

i have a 7 to 7 curfew hour but sometimes my has me to stay later than my curfew hours. I,ve tried explaining this to my p.o but he wont budge. jobs are so hard to come by so i really dont want to quit but if i cant perform my job properly then i may be let go. is there any legal avenue i can take to possibly get my curfew hours changed. after 17 years in prison its like i never left. when will us few guys who really want to do right be given a chance.

Yes you can hire a lawyer to file a motion to modify your probation. If you write me with the county you are in, I can tell you how much I would charge.

The probation officer has no power to alter the terms of your probation since it was imposed by the Judge. Therefore, only the Judge can alter your curfew. Doing so is a relatively easy process. Essentially, a lawyer simply needs to file a motion with the court, supported with evidence of the necessity for the change, such as a letter from your boss.
