Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

process from arrest to trial

What is the process from time of arrest to trial?

I realize the defendant has X number of days to state his plea, then the state has X number of days to state the charges, etc. How do I find out what the full process is and what to expect? It's a felony charge - lewd & lascivious molestation child under 16. f
