I want to know if there is a program for first time misdemeanors to keep it off my record.

Yes. Depending on the county, it is either "Pre-Trial Diversion" or "Pre-Trial Intervention". It is not automatic and usually your attorney can request it. Feel free to give me a call and I can answer any questions you have at 813-277-0800.
