Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Two questions:
1. If someone is guilty of downloading child porn in two different judicial districts, can they choose the district in which they are tried?
2. Don't the rulings on Mens Rae in Florida mean that the Prosecution has to prove beyond reasonable doubt that an individual intended to distribute child porn? Can he be guilty of distribution even though he took appropriate steps to insure that he was not sharing files through a limewire type file-sharing program?
