Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Can I get this record expunged?

4 years ago I was arrested for a Battery on a Leo charge and before anything started happening with that about a week later I was arrested for a DUI. I pleaded no contest to the DUI did 6 months probation and paid a few fines. Then for the felony they put me on a Pre-Trial Intervention program which I completed and the charge was dismissed. I have since turned my life around and I am trying to see if there is anything I can do to have at least the felony record expunged. I don't want this mistake continuing to haunt me for the rest of my life. Is there any hope??

I also did have one other question... I've always wanted to become a Probation Officer and I am wondering if I will still be able to do so?? I have been going to college and will be getting a degree in Criminology around December of this year. Would it be pointless to attempt a career in this field??

I would greatly appreciate any input. Thanks for your time!

Oh and one other thing... I do not have a lot of money but would be willing spend around $500 if I needed to hire legal help in order to get everything resolved.

sorry, but because you took the plea on the dui you are not eligible to expunge your felony record.

Unfortunately you will not qualify to seal or expunge your record. As for your career choice you are going to have some trouble with the felony arrest, but only the agency can tell you for sure.
