How likely is it that a sexual assault case goes to trial when there are no witnesses. The victim used to date the suspect.

What do you mean there are no witnesses. The alleged victim is a witness even if they don't want to testify. The officers who did the investigation will also be used at trial. You need to talk to your attorney to see what is going to happen.
