Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

three sherrifs came to my fathers house where i lived at 6:30 am to serve a warrant for back child support. When they arrived I was out in the back yard pulling weeds & doing yardwork. They spoke saying "are you so and so" I replied yes. Three of them told me to stand up put my hands behind my back. The warrant just came out the day before.because i had court date the day before and didnt go. So the warrnt was for failure to appear on child support. I stood up they cuffed me, the female officer then reached down in my pocket didnt say anything about im gonna search you -can i search you she just searched me inside my pocket was a small bag 2 tenths of meth. She pulled it out made some remarks. Put me in back of the car, i was trnsported to the jail booked on poss of meth, parph, bonded out was placed on deferred prosecution prog. Got a dirty ua and am now going to court for the original charge poss & para. What angle if any do I have, or what could the scenerio end like. i have no priors

Unfortunately, they probably had the right to search you because any time you are legally arrested, then they have the right to search your person. However, there may be other issues that would require an in person consultation. You should call an attorney in your area immediately.
