Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
my son is in jail awaiting hearing for vop on an original drug charge when i look up his court records the last thing it lists is the jessica lundsford act i thought that was a rape murder act i was told that that was put there just for them to check him out that doesnt sound right

The jessica lundsford act applies to VOP cases. What it did is change some of the rules on release for VOP cases among many other things. Of course, there could be more to it. Feel free to contact me and we'll see if we can help.
