Waiving speedy trial is the clients decision. You can't reverse it per se but you can Demand a Speedy Trial and the court will set a trial date within 30 days. Every case is different and waiving speedy trial often times gives your attorney additional time to prepare for a case. Before you Demand a Speedy Trial you need to discuss your case with your attorney to make sure they will be prepared to represent you.
