i stole something not because i wanted the money, it was kind of a joke how do i get this horrible charge off my record

You need to fight the charge and win. Then you can expunge the arrest from your record. A diversion program would also result in a dismissal but you will need to pay around $750 and take a class. If you need further advise feel free to contact my office at 305.310.7637.
