Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Theft
My ex employer is accussing me of writing a $10,000 check in her name. This is not true, and I would like to sue her for slander. Detectives came to my home, but I was not present. I do not want to go in without a lawyer present. I feel like they were coming to arrest me. This type of accusation can really hurt any future employment. What shoud I do?
