Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

VOP Failure to report

I was violated due to the fact that I didn't report as scheduled. I didn't report because I felt that I was going to be violated. I've payed all supervision cost's, but couldn't to pay for the drug screen testing I was susposed to take. I'm a single father who takes care of my son with no help from the state or anyone else. I'm on felony probation for possession in Gainesville, FL, but live in Jacksonville, FL. I've been violated once for failing a urinalysis. My question is what do

I do to stay out jail? And also how can I get off of probation without any more of a sentence?

Re: VOP Failure to report

Unfortunately, it's not that easy. Not reporting is the worst thing one can do. You may need to get your affairs in order, then contact an attorney. You would probably need to turn yourself in, then have the attorney schedule your court date immediately. Possessions are usually time served cases in Jacksonville. What happens in Gainesville, will depend on your judge.

Good luck!

I wish I had a good news for you but your wish is not possible. I don't see how you will be able to avoid jail if a warrant has been issued.
