Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

my wife was arrested for tresspass/ resisting arrest with out vilance in misdemener court she has been having mental problems before she was arrested the officers new before hand she had been having mental problems she thinks she owns every property in the county thinks she is married to someone else acting crasy in the way she thinks she has been in jail for 60 days they offered her a plea of 60 days so she could have got out to day but she thinks she owns the store she was charged with tresspass she keeps pleading not guilty the state atty said if she goes to trial she was going to ask for a year what is the best course of action also the sheriff that brought the warrent had been out sevaral times before and i told them she was having mental problems so they new she was mentaly off they roughed her up at the front door

It sounds like you need a criminal defense lawyer as soon as possible! Your wife needs to be evaluated, likely through a court appointed Doctor to determine if she is competent to stand trial. If she has mental problems, she may be able to get treatment in lieu of jail.
