Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

What will the outcome be?

My boyfriend traveled to another county in florida to visit his son. While he was there he told the childs mother that he needed to get the rest of his things (he moved out 8 mos ago) she got mad and started hitting him and throwing his things on the lawn. The neighbor heard the noise and called the police.

When the police arrived they asked what the problem was, she told them that he beat her up. The police took him to jail. A child protective worker came to the jail to visit him and get his side of the story. She asked him why there were so many broken plates on the floor. He told her that she was throwing the plates at him and he was blocking them with his hand and showed her the cuts on his ha.

The worker then went to interview the mother, which has not been seen or heard from by anyone. My boyfriend was bailed out of jail, but was told that he had to a service center once a week for a drug test even though drugs are not the issue, plus the judge would not let him leave to come back home. The judge said that he had to stay in that county. He has to go to court next week, what can we expect? will he be able to come back home, we can't afford to keep paying for a hotel for to stay in up there. He doesn't live there.

Re: What will the outcome be?

If I could predict outcomes, Id be a rich lady, not a lawyer! On a serious note, the original county will put a hold on him for violating his probation by either picking up the new charge or leaving the county. His lawyer can reapply for permission to go back home if there is no hold. he may be forced to rewolve the new charges and then by transported home. Pls call if I can help.
