Legal Question in DUI Law in Florida

I was caught drinking while underage at a tailgate party and was given a notice to appear in court I want to know whats the worst scenario that can happen? Im twenty years old

Well the worst thing that can happen is a conviction on your record and heavy fine, however, in reality, if you've never been in trouble before, the Miami judge will most likely withhold adjudication and you pay a fine or else he/she will do what's called a conditional nol prosse where they make you write a letter explaining the horrors of underaged drinking. Once you do that the case will be dismissed. Don't be too worried. If you have any other questions you can call me anytime.

I agree with the response of the other attorney but wanted to add that you will most likely be eligible for the misdemeanor diversion program which, if completed, would result in the charges being dismissed.
