Legal Question in DUI Law in Florida

public defender not showing evidence

GUILTY. I want to appeal! can I? my first public defender relocated to a different dept. so I got a new p.d. I talked to once (10 minutes)before my trial that took my case and she failed big time. she did not use pictures or beneficial info from the file she got from the 1st. p.d. I dont think she even read what was in my case folder,I even asked her if she read it and held it up to show her the main evidence page and she said yes i read it. I asked because she was not aware of things. SHE WAS NOT PREPARED. In my formal review with the division of drivers licenses the deputy testified he heard me saying stuff that sounded like the engine was broken BUT today in court he said he did not hear me say anything. so during the trial the prosecutors said I made up the story because my p.d. never mentioned it to them prior to my trial. The arresting officer was a 22 year old with 2 and a half monthes on the job. My public defender is Emily Morgan in Manatee county and she is leagaly blind with a seeing eye dog in the court room. I learned she couldnt have even seen the page I held up to her face that she said she read. She uses special zoom software on her pc but these pages are hand written. HELP ME. I was pushing a broke=cold m/c.
