Warrant
What is the difference between vacate an arrest warrant and cancel an arrest warrant. because I know a case(first DUI) where an acquaintance did not finish his therapy and the court first issue an arrest warrant an some years later, cancelled the arrest warrant and close the case.
What happened in that case?
Are'nt warrants for life?

vacating a warrant IS canceling it. If the court vacates (cancels) an arrest warrant, it no longer exists.
