School transcripts

My kids attended private school for the past few years. I am unable to send them this year due to the econony. But because I owe the school a balance they will not release the kids school records so I can register them in public school. can they do that?

Probably not -- but I would check your contract with the school. Go and sit down with the administrator to discuss your problem. Contacvt your local school board official. If this is a religious school, go talk to the pastor, priest, rabbi or whatever. It is not a very "religious" thing to do. Shame them into giving you the dang thing.
