Student Loan

Good morning I am emailing about a 22 year old student loan that I have the loan started out at 4000 now its up to 140000. Here is the situation. When I was 16 a technical school came to my high school and they adviertise that the school was a regional accredite school and that it was close to the beach close to the living arrangements and transportation will be provided. Netheless to say all was untrue and on top of that the school only had students that was from small parts all over Georgia. Well as time went on alot of students dropped out and went back home. Come to find out the state force the school to close because of no tax payments and the school wasn't a legitimate business the school was also sued by the several students and also the state. The school closed before I got my degree but I did end up going to another technical school for a quarter but I couldn't transfer any credits because the school was close so I culdn't supply a transcript I ended up dropping out of the second school because I found out that they wasn't regional accredited either. I have written to the department of education three times the first time was because the social security number that they had wasn't correct then I wrote them to inform

Re: Student Loan

If you received a loan from the school you may have something to complain about. You received a loan from someone else, though. You must repay the laon; you borrowed the money. The fact that you should not have spent the money on the school that you selected does not allow you to avoid your repayment obligations.
