Home invasion

Can my boyfriend be found guilty of home invasion in florida if the victim doesn't show up for court during trial?

If someone can be convicted for murder without finding a corpse, then anything is possible. I would think that a "home invasion" would need the victim, but a confession or a co-defendant's statements could be used to prove up the crime. The best answer is a "maybe."
