Legal Question in Entertainment Law in Florida

is there a way that i can get out of a music contract . thats has option to extend without my approval what happend is i signed to my cusin to manage me . and he told me that his lawyer was representing both of us.so i trusted him and signed without a lawyer revising the contract.i thought i was sigin for three years he tricked me. and the sad part is hes taking advantage of me.Because i have a major label interested in me and a really big known producer and celebrity manager.that want to work with me.but only if he releases me.my manager says he wants whats best for me.but if he did he would of released me. with a sunset clause. i learned about it. after i signed.but since i want him competely out of the picture he always treathens me that theres is noting i can do. that im signed to him.that he wont give me the release. and i have to do what he says.that i dont have a choice.cuz im signed to him for the next 7 years. i signed for 3 years but unkowingly gave him the option to extend me for 2 more years for the second term and 2 more years for the third term. equaling 7 years. with out my approval i feel like his slave. i really want out of this contract.can you please help me please! any loop holes to terminate it? like as long as he gets a percentage while it decreases is acceptable to me. but he wont give me the release can he willingly hold me hostage like that? or is there a way for me to terminate as long as he gets temporary percentages? i really wish u guys could help me out plis! thanx

Certain factors, such as your age at the time of signing or whether you had a reasonable opportunity to seek legal advice prior to signing, may prove useful in getting out of your current contract.

Feel free to email me with additional details and a copy of the contract.
