Videotaping Sports

Can I videotape a public sport, put it on the internet and sell it? There would be no copyrighted music or anything copyrighted in it.

It depends on the sport. Some sports organizations, like the NFL, have successfully declared themselves to be copyrighted performances, so taping an NFL game and showing it online violates copyright just like videotaping a movie would. That's true of most major league sports. However, the issue is not as clear when it comes to something like little league or a high school game.
