Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

What can I do 7 years after the finalized divorce decree? My ex was to refinance within 90 days the home, now 7 years later I am receiving letters from attorney's about being taken to court over a foreclosure, apparently he never refinanced, and I never knew that.... Can I sue the ex for this and get extra money for all the aggravation he is still causing ? I would really like to teach him a lesson, he has never heard from me after divorce, but his sneaking ways are always pulling me into having to fight battles again. I am sick of it..

Cannot comment without a paperwork review. Have your papers, including the Final Judgment reviewed by an attorney immediately.

If he failed to comply with a provision in the Final Judgment you can file a Motion for Contempt.

You can take the ex back to court for contempt of court and try to save the house yourself.
