I would like to adopt my 40 year old stepdaughter whose father, a life long scientologist, has completely abandoned. She lives in WA state, I am in Florida. We have, over several years, developed an extremely warm and loving relationship. (She'll be visiting at Xmas time and I would love to gift her (at least) the paperwork. How would I go about it?
