Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

At what age does child support terminate?

My divorce decree states''...until they reach 18 or graduate from high school, which ever comes first''. There are two children involved. One is 20 and out of school, and the other is 18 and in school, but does not live with her custodial mother. I',m still paying child support to the custodial mother. How do I fix this?

Re: At what age does child support terminate?

I would file either a motion to modify or a motion to terminate child support, depending on the particulars of the situation. This can be a complicated scenario that may require more in-depth analysis. Please feel free to contact me at 407-679-3823 for a low-cost consultation should you need more assistance. My office does accept payment plans
