Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

my name is Angie and my husband is cheating on me. What I want to know is does he have to support me. He gets a Va Penion and is retired from the United States Post Office. Total is $4700.00 a month.

I can provide a general statement about family law though. If you had a longer marriage, you earn considerably less than him and he has disposable income each month, he may be required to pay alimony.

If you have any minor children, and they will spend the majority of the time with you, he will have to pay child support.

Also, ther are other laws that dictate whether you are entitled to a share of his pension.

If you are going to proceed to a divorce, you should hire an atty.
