Re: Can i appeal Child suport payment if i cant live?

How are the kids supposed to live with the ecomony the way it is nowadays?

The child support guidelines are what they are, and they've been established by the legislature. "I can't afford it" is not a ground for appeal. The appellate court does not care what your rent is, they only care that the kids eat. The money is for the kids, not for the mother, but do you really think $608 is enough to raise a child on for a month? $608 per month doesn't even feed two (or more) kids, let alone cloth them, pay for gas to get them to their school or activities, buy supplies, etc. It may be annoying to you that she doesn't work, and I'm certainly not taking her side hear, but face it, kids are expensive.

If you wan't to appeal, speak to a lawyer before your time runs out, but you'll need a better ground to appeal on.
