Do capital gains count when determining a parent's income for calculation of child suport?

Not sure if you are talking about the gain itself or the tax associated with it. In any event, if there is reportable income then it must be used in the calculation. If the income is one time and not regular income then it is not likely to be figured into the calculations for child support.
