Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Changing my middle name

I read where a gentleman went to court and changed his entire name to the exact name of a celebrity. I was wondering if I could just change my middle name, which I can't stand anyway to the last name of a celebrity, which I have admired for many many years. I , of course, would keep my legal first and last name, I am married. Is this possible? If so, how do I go about it?

Re: Changing my middle name

You may change your legal name to just about anything in Florida. I would recommend you contact the local Clerk of Court who should have forms approved by the Florida Supreme Court. Good Luck.
