my child is an adult now and i am only paying child support arrears. i pay weekly to the florida disbursement unit and recently they garnished my bank account without ant sort of notice. can they do so?

I see you have had contact with the Florida Gestapo. They do what they want, when they want and will disavow any agreement they may have made, including ignoring court Orders.
