Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Child Custody

My sons father has taken my son and will not give him back to me and is denying me the right to see him with out a court order, we are in the middle of a divorce and a date is being set, I filed an Emergency Order for Child Pick up and was denied until 30 days for Mediation. Why would this happen this way?

Re: Child Custody

NOTE: This communication is not intended as and should not be interpreted as legal advice. Rather, it is intended solely as a general discussion of legal principles. You should not rely on or take action based on this communication without first presenting ALL relevant details to a competent attorney in your jurisdiction and then receiving the attorney's individualized advice for you. By reading the "Response" to your question or comment, you agree that the opinion expressed is not intended to, nor does it, create any attorney-client relationship, nor does it constitute legal advice to any person reviewing such information, nor will it be considered an attorney-client privileged communication. If you do not agree, then stop right here, and do not read any further.

Without knowing more of the facts, it is impossible to provide any viable answer. You seem to need to engage an attorney to represent you in order to hopefully get before the court faster and to be better prepared for a hearing on this matter. An attorney will know what must be present before the court in order to be successful.
