Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Child support and remarriage

I just had the 2dca rule my case per curiam affirmed. It appears this very gender bias court never addressed a single issue brought up. They just aggreed with the lower court. Last time child support was addressed, it was based off income of 3 years ago. I need to address this. I will be getting remarried in a week. Can my new wife's income be used when determining child support?

No. Only your income will be used when determining child support. The income of a new spouse is immaterial and not included in any child support calculations for either party.

Congratulations on your marriage!
