Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Child visitations

I am living in Miami with my 2 boys. their father was deported to Peru 3 years ago. I am filing for divorce at the end of the month. Can my soon-to-be ex-husband turn over his visitation right over to his parents in his absence?

Re: Child visitations

No. Basically grandparents have no child visitation rights under Florida law. If you want to allow them to see your children, then you can certainly do so. However, if you do not, then you can't be forced to do so under Florida law. In this situation, your Husband can't "swap" his visitation with your in-laws. It doesn't work that way.
