Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

If your child withdraws from High School her Senior year and enrolls in a Votec school, do child support rules still apply? Decree states graduate before age of 19. She is 18, turning 19 in July.

One would need to see the actual order to give advice. It probably says that she has to still be in high school and in fact dependent. Child support stops at 18, unless the child is still in high school and reasonably anticipated to graduate prior to 19. She withdrew from high school, so child support should stop. She will not graduate from high school prior to turning 19, because she is not in high school anymore. I hope this helps.
