Custody part 2

This applies to children custody the case dealing with

the parents is a fed case they was smuglling drugs

and what ever and if the kids are in a foster home

am i still able to recieve custody of them how long

will it take for me to recieve the kids and for them

living with me will i recieve a check for them and

do i have to go to court to have them in my custody

because im a a elderly women but i can still take care

of them because i have alot of help round the house

to help me take care of them and when i call children

and families what do i tell them i tell them the kids names

and parents names and what happened please help me im

confused thank you for your coroperation...

You don't indicate whether you're a grandparent, friend, of the children. You should contact the local Florida Dept of Children & Families. Explain the situation, your relationship to the children, that you are interested in caring for then as temporary guardian or foster parent, that you are interested in their welfare and will help them. You will receive child support based on number of childen. An investigator or caseworker will check out the situation and recommend some action to the court. A caseworker will be assigned to the children and you if you are approved.
