Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My daughters father, who is not listed on her birth certificate and who avoided child support enforcement so no dna test was ever done, has passed away. Is there a way to legally force his parents to submit to a dna test to prove that they are my daughters grandparents, proving that he is the father?

I've never seen it done before, but I don't see why it's not possible. Also, paternity can be proven in ways other than the DNA test. Before DNA was commonly used, we used to show photos to the judge, we used to have people testify about when and where the sex occurred, etc. Also, do any blood or tissue samples still exist that can be tested? Has he been cremated or buried yet? You may need to think further outside the box if you are looking to sue his estate for back support. You'll probably need a lawyer on this one, though.
