Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Dependacy Concern

Hello,

My daugher is a part of a case. The mother has failed to comply with dependacy agreements. Failed drug tests and the reports in the paperwork are quite disturbing. Is this enough to fight for full custody. The mother can be deemed unfit.

Re: Dependacy Concern

Certainly, you should seek legal counsel. However, normally DCF will oppose the drug-dependant parent and ask that the child be placed with the other parent. If DCF is taking the lead and working with you, you may not need to hire a lawyer yourself.
