Deposition

An aquaintance of mine and her husband are going through a divorce. The husband has said some false things about me and my character, none which is relevant to the case and I want to know what I can do about this. Slander?

If he has slandered you in the course of the divorce action, he can't be sued. If he has slandered you outside of the divorce, and the slander has harmed you financially, you should talk to a lawyer.
