Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Divorce after 5 months

My question is what legal rights do I have when my husband wants a divorce after 5 months. He did not want me working, he only wanted me to go to school. He traded in my car and bought me a new car so it is in his name. He owned the house before we were married. Everything is in his name. He also signed over the business so it would not show as an asset. I have no money, job, car, anything. Will he have to pay for my attorney and what about everything I got rid of when we moved in together. He bought all new stuff for me so it would feel like our home. He also led me to believe he wanted children and now says he is unsure. What are my options if any, or am i just left with nothing? Thank you in advance.

Now I know the meaning of "love is blind." You did not see this coming?

Did he make you pay for school?

Get an attorney to assist, but on a short marriage as this you can't expect too much. Hopefully your attorney can, at least, get you back to where you were before this.

You do have rights based upon the changes you made. But specifics would require a meeting with an attorney.
