Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I was divorced over two years ago and agreed to joint custody with every other weekend visitation due to the kids age and stress it was causing them. I would like to attempt a 50/50 parenting plan. I have requested from the custodial parent to try it but they refuse stating it would be unstable and would not allow them to pay off their loans.

I help out as much as I can but find that it is financially draining to constantly help out and pay the support I provide monthly. I feel I am just being used financially and being taken advantage of.

I live within the same city and often take them to school when needed. Do I have any right to change the parenting plan so that I could make sure the kids are getting the financial assistance the support is designed for and also give me normal time I had when the kids were with me? Thanks,

You can request at any time to change the parenting plan. Prepare the Petition to Modify Visitation and attach the parenting plan you are requesting, Prepare a Petition to Modify Child support as well, set the hearing and serve the papers.
