Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My ex-husband insisted on taking the house and mortgage over when we divorced. We are both in the military and he has received orders overseas. Because of his orders he has stopped paying the mortgage and is ruining my credit. What are my options if I don't want to evict him from the home and take over payments myself?

The only other option (and you may not even have that option depending on how your divorce papers read) is to allow the house to go to foreclosure. Depending on how the divorce papers read, you may also be able to sell or refinance the house.
