Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Can my ex-wife allow her boyfriend to come into the treatment rooms when we take out 10 year old son to the doctor? We have joint custody. Isn't this a HIPPA violation if I do not give consent?

Yes, she has the power to permit that unless a judge restricts that conduct.

Is it really necessary for him to come in? What does your parenting papers state? If this is not addressed in your papers then file a supplemental Petition and have it added. This child probably feels uncomfortable as it is.
