Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My ex-wife and I have shared custody of my 15 year old daughter. My ex is the primary custodial parent. My daughter wants to come live with me to attend the nearby school. My ex is fine with this. What steps do we need to take to modify the custody agreement from our divorce decree?

YOu need to file a Modification of Custody with Consent - both you sign stating what the modification is and then prepare an Order for the judge to sign granting the Modification of Custody Agreement.

If you need assistance, please contact my office for an appointment. This a fairly simply thing to do and my fee would be very minimal.
