Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My fiance has a child who is 14 amd lives in Texas. He has not seen her since she has been 3 months old. The mother left Mississippi and moved to Texas. He pays $1000 a month child support for years. Some of that is for nack payment.

He and I reside in Florida.

We want to get married. My question is this....Can the state of Texas take anything that I have just in my name. (401k, checking, savings, real estate, etc)

Can they put a lien on anything I purchase after marriage just in my name...cars...real estate etc.

Thank you.

Under Florida law, no but you need to contact a Texas attorney for information as to Texas.
