Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I want to file motion for child support enforcement. Before that happens can I serve other party to produce documents like bank statements, tax returns? Other parent claims disabled now and unable to pay. Want to show court there are assets and can pay. This is a DOR case but they aren't doing enough to get this enforced.

You should have your attorney handle it (DOR), if you want to file stuff on your own even though you have a lawyer that is not proper procedure.

You are not limited to having the DOR attorney handle it - you can hire a private attorney. However, you should try to have a discussion with the DOR lawyer first before you hire a private attorney. These guys are usually really busy, but a polite conversation with the lawyer may do wonders to get your file pushed to the top of the pile.
