Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My ex filed a divorce almost a year ago in a different county than I am living in, and it’s just sitting there he hasn’t gone through with it. Can I file in a different county. This is in Florida. There is 2 small children involved.

No. You can only have 1 action pending at a time. You can make a motion to transfer the case to your county.
